Here is the latest update on the weather forecast for the country for the next 7 days. A low pressure system is expected to develop and intensify as it moves rapidly across the central and the northeastern U.S. in the next couple of days. This will bring a swath of snow to spread eastward from across the northern Plains into the Midwest, the Great Lakes, and into the Northeast Tuesday and Wednesday. Snowfall totals of up to 6 inches can be expected along the Illinois-Wisconsin border and across
