🚨RARE: Endangered population CATS tagging!🚨 Help us save this endangered population! This video is our chief scientist deploying a CATS tag on an endangered false killer whale. The CATS tags are non-invasive, suction-cup-based video and data tag for studying marine animals. Much like a Fitbit records daily steps, these tags capture how many fluke strokes whales perform each day and how much energy they expend to do so.
