The Matschie’s tree kangaroos at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo know how important it is to eat their greens! Animal care and research staff at the Zoo have been working together for our tree kangaroos to develop the best possible diet, and to find new and creative ways to increase natural behaviors such as browsing on their favorite leaves. We are monitoring important welfare indicators during the diet change and through this process, we hope to ultimately encourage other natural and healthy behavior
